Role Overview

The Manager, Program and Business Integration is a strategic leadership position responsible for coordinating and managing services to support the development and delivery of complex programs across policy, legislative and/or regulatory change associated with laws.

This role works closely with business areas to create awareness for optimal change adoption and to support oversight of business loading requirements and implement strategies for monitoring ongoing compliance with amended legislation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide effective leadership and collaboration to support management team meet objectives relating to statutory reform initiatives and their implementation via changes to business requirements.
  • Plan, monitor and support management in the delivery of complex projects to time, cost, scope and quality, within clear project management parameters.
  • Manage the design, development and implementation of structured systems and governance arrangements to engage accountable business owners and develop an internal framework including policies and procedures.
  • Manage, lead and coordinate project working groups, Governance and/or Steering Committees.
  • Develop and review reporting materials, including risk and issue reports.
  • Monitor progress against implementation requirements and schedules.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrated experience operating in large and complex organisations along with strong communication and interpersonal skills allowing you to build and maintain trusted relationships.

Additionally, you will possess the following skills and experience:

  • A sound understanding and knowledge of business processes and government and legislative requirements.
  • A demonstrated track record of delivering large complex projects to schedule and budget.
  • Experience in managing medium to large scale and/or multi-faceted projects involving legislative and/or regulatory reform.
  • Highly developed writing skills, including the ability to prepare concise briefing documents and high level reports.
  • Experience in implementing operational and information products and IT system solutions.
