
Computer System Support Specialist

The IT Services Administrator's role involves supporting and maintaining in-house computer systems, laptops, desktops, and peripherals both on-site and remotely.
This includes receiving, prioritizing, documenting, and resolving end-user help requests while escalating incidents as necessary to meet Service Level Agreement expectations.
Problem resolution may involve the use of diagnostic and help request tracking tools to ensure efficient issue resolution.
Key Responsibilities- Support the acquisition of new computer or networking hardware, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
- Evaluate documented resolutions and analyze trends to identify opportunities for preventing future problems.
- Alert management to emerging trends in incidents, enabling proactive measures to minimize downtime.
- Participate in capacity planning and strategic goal development for Citrix systems, software, and clients in collaboration with end-users and department managers.
- Liaise with and provide training and support to end-users and staff on computer operation and other issues, promoting self-sufficiency and efficiency.
- Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end-user workstation hardware, networked peripheral devices, and networking hardware products.
- Where required, install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot associated end-user workstation software and networking software products.
- Collaborate with analysts, application developers, and system owners in testing Citrix programs, applications, and interoperability.
- 3 years' experience administering both Citrix and physical clients remotely and on-site.
- Experience documenting and maintaining configuration and process information, ensuring knowledge sharing and consistency.
- Bachelor Degree or equivalent in Information Systems, demonstrating a solid foundation in IT principles and practices.
- Strong customer service orientation, with a focus on delivering exceptional user experiences.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of effective incident resolution and trend analysis.
