Job Title:High Performance Computing Systems Specialist
We are seeking an experienced High Performance Computing Systems Specialist to join our global HPC Team in Sydney. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing Linux environments and software development, with experience in designing, building, and maintaining complex systems.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following key tasks:
- Designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting high-performance compute and storage systems
- Implementing and supporting performance monitoring and fault-monitoring systems
- Monitoring systems and storage performance, including network components
- Building tooling to compile, package, install, and upgrade software and operating system components at scale
- Collaborating with team members to write code and testing infrastructures spanning multiple programming languages
The selected candidate must have a proven track record of professional experience in HPC, including parallel filesystems, batch systems, and high-performance network interconnects. Additionally, they should have a high proficiency with at least one programming/scripting language (e.g., Go, Python, C) and extensive experience designing, building, and maintaining complex systems.
