Professionals with a passion for facilitating the return of individuals to work and health are highly sought after in our NSW Workers Compensation team.

We are looking for a driven and highly experienced Claims Specialist who will be instrumental in managing a diverse portfolio of complex claims for government agencies, leveraging their extensive knowledge and experience in Workers Compensation.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage complex claims portfolios and ensure timely assessments of treatment requests.
  • Work in partnership with internal and external stakeholders to deliver excellent service.
  • Determine complex liability decisions and appropriately document claims decisions.
  • Utilise claims management systems to develop and implement effective claims strategies.
  • Meet key compliance and performance measures.
  • Coach and support newer team members and provide advice on complex claims.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum 4 years' recent experience as a Workers Compensation Case Manager or other personal injury lines (please note, experience must be within the last 5 years).
  • A detailed understanding of PIAWE, complex claims liability decisions, litigation and work capacity process.
  • The ability to work autonomously and adapt quickly to changing situations.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customer-focused approach.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • A passion for leveraging emerging technologies to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
