Remote Midwifery Opportunity in the Northern Territory

This role offers a unique chance to work in remote Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities across the Northern Territory. As a midwife, you will provide treatment to local people, working closely with health practitioners, nurses, and support staff to deliver culturally safe care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing high-quality patient care in remote settings.
  • Collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure effective treatment and outcomes.

In exchange for your expertise and commitment, you will receive:

Requirements:
  • Unrestricted registration as a registered nurse and registered midwife with AHPRA.
  • Minimum 3 years postgraduate experience in midwifery.
  • Minimum 2 years postgraduate experience as a registered nurse.
  • 250 hours relevant clinical experience within the past 12 months.
  • CPR/BLS certification and current immunisation.
  • Northern Territory Working with Children's Card or willingness to obtain.
