Homelessness Program Leader

The role of Homelessness Program Leader involves leading high-quality service delivery for homelessness programs. This includes after-hours outreach and supervising a team of Case Workers to deliver end-to-end services that promote social inclusion and client choice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the implementation of effective service delivery strategies to ensure the promotion of social inclusion, human rights, participation, and consumer choice.
  • Lead, coach, and mentor a dedicated team of Case Workers with experience working with people with complex needs to drive continuous improvement and deliver high-quality outcomes for clients.
  • Join a supportive and inclusive environment with regular training, supervision, and opportunities for professional development.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills including excellent communication skills catering for diversity within the team, ability to express ideas clearly, listen effectively, and provide constructive feedback.
  • Knowledge and/or experience in delivering programs to clients from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
  • Relevant degree with experience in social work or community services or equivalent; or less formal qualifications with specialized skills in the relevant field.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading a team is highly desirable.
  • Experience within the community care sector is also desirable.
  • A current Working with Children Check is mandatory.
