Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food and Beverage Attendant to join our team at Sofitel Darling Harbour.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional service to guests by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a seamless dining experience.
  • Manage cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a positive and efficient work environment.
  • Follow established procedures and protocols to ensure consistency and quality in service delivery.
  • Report any discrepancies in stock control to ensure accurate inventory management.
  • Ensure all checklists are completed prior to the conclusion of the shift to maintain high standards of service.
  • Maintain knowledge of menu items and wine lists to provide informed recommendations to guests.
  • Upsell and maximize sales opportunities to drive revenue growth.
  • Serve food and beverages with flair and professionalism, adhering to Sofitel's high standards.
  • Deliver personalized service to guests, ensuring their requests are met promptly and efficiently.
  • Embody the art of French hospitality by demonstrating a 'can-do' attitude and providing exceptional service.
  • Perform tasks in a timely manner to maintain efficiency and productivity.
  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of Sofitel Brand Standards.
  • Support the Outlet Manager in training and developing colleagues, maintaining a detailed training log.
  • Follow up on guest comments, requests, and complaints, informing the Supervisor and Assistant Manager of any issues.
