About Global Client Services

Nuveen's Global Client Services team is responsible for delivering exceptional client experiences across the globe. As a key member of this team, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining strong relationships with our clients, ensuring their needs are met, and providing timely and accurate information to support their investment decisions.

About the Position

We are seeking an experienced Client Services AVP to join our Sydney-based team. In this role, you will be responsible for working closely with sales and relationship teams to deliver excellent end-to-end service for institutional and private wealth clients in the region. This will involve managing and coordinating client queries, working collaboratively with internal business partners, and ensuring all responses to client queries and requests for information are clear, accurate, and timely.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate client queries, working collaboratively with internal business partners to ensure timely and accurate responses.
  • Work closely with sales and relationship teams to deliver excellent end-to-end service for institutional and private wealth clients in the region.
  • Ensure all responses to client queries and requests for information are clear, accurate, and timely.
  • Partner with the Client Transitions CoE to ensure smooth on- and off-boarding of clients and distributors.
  • Deliver client communications on regular and key events, working with internal business partners to agree messaging and timing.
  • Ensure Salesforce is updated with all relevant client interaction, and communicate proactively with sales and relationship teams on issues and developments.
  • Own responsibility for and partner with the Client Information Delivery CoE to distribute client reporting to agreed deadlines.
  • Maintain accurate databases of client and portfolio information, and documentation for use by the broader business.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 7+ years of proven experience in client service in the Asset Management Industry, including the institutional and wealth channels.
  • BA/BS or equivalent.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work well on teams and in fast-paced, cross-collaborative environments.
  • Be able to work independently under minimal supervision.
  • Ability to think analytically and deliver solutions to complex challenges.
  • Proactive, issue-resolution mindset.
  • Ability to address client needs by collaborating with overseas colleagues in different time zones.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Self-starter that can manage multiple tasks at the same time.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
