Payroll Specialist

Empower Australia's payments future with a company that values collaboration, innovation and excellence. We are seeking a full-time Payroll Coordinator to join our organisation, working in a supportive team environment.
About the Role- The Payroll Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Payroll team in performing day-to-day activities associated with the timely and accurate processing of remuneration payments and employee entitlements.
- Coordinating payroll processes, preparing compliance reports and administering employee entitlements.
- Interpreting and implementing relevant awards and internal policies.
- Performing termination, redundancy, and other payment calculations.
- Collecting, calculating, entering, and checking data to maintain and update payroll information.
- Preparing and distributing PAYG, superannuation, payroll tax, employee deductions etc.
- Administering salary packaging.
- Processing annual remuneration review and bonus payments in line with policies.
- Monitoring and actioning payroll enquiries and requests.
- Proven payroll experience in a similar role.
- Knowledge of payroll processes, Australian legislation, award and policy interpretation.
- Proficient in using payroll software and Microsoft Office.
- Process driven, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
