We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Philanthropy Manager to join our fundraising team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of major donors to secure significant financial contributions for FightMND.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategic plans to grow the supporter base and optimise philanthropic revenue.
- Manage a portfolio of major donors, fostering deep connections and long-term commitment to FightMND.
- Design and deliver donor engagement activities and events that inspire giving, build loyalty, and demonstrate impact.
- Collaborate with the broader Fundraising Team to deliver integrated supporter journeys that enhance retention, encourage upgrades, and promote cross-channel giving.
FightMND is a non-profit organisation dedicated to finding effective treatments and ultimately a cure for motor neurone disease.
The organisation has been at the forefront of the fight against MND, providing vital support to those affected by the disease.

Required Skills and Qualifications- Proven experience in relationship management and donor stewardship, including direct gift solicitation.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong, enduring relationships with philanthropists, trusts, and individual stakeholders.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including proposal writing and presentation.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems to manage donor data and engagement.
- Strong time management and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
