About the Role

At Canon, we are seeking an experienced Inventory Planner to join our Product Planning department. This is a key role that requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining optimal stock levels across Oceania, analyzing and forecasting demand for CINC and local products, and minimizing backorders and supply delays. They will also be responsible for processing inventory-related transactions, learning and maintaining capability within CINC and vendor systems, and working effectively with various stakeholders within a sales business.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and maintain correct stock levels across Oceania
  • Analyze and forecast demand of CINC and local products based on sales history, stock situation, inventory targets, and place orders per stipulated process
  • Minimize backorders and supply ETA for awaiting items to all parties involved
  • Process Inventory related transactions as required
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years experience in product planning/inventory management in medium to large organizations
  • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to identify inventory-related issues and develop effective solutions to minimize customer impact

The estimated salary for this role is around $80,000 - $110,000 AUD per annum, depending on experience.
