About the Role

Ventia has been engaged by the Department of Justice and Community Safety to provide integrated Facility Management services, including planned, preventive, and reactive maintenance, as well as soft services such as cleaning, grounds, pest, and waste management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the commercial relationship with the Department of Justice and Community Safety to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Develop commercial frameworks and procedures for the contract.
  • Perform commercial audits and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Negotiate new contractual arrangements where required.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with clients, internal and external providers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Monitor financial performance, conduct financial analysis, and prepare contract-level progress and performance information.
  • Submit and evaluate proposals to reduce costs, maximize revenue, and improve EBITDA.
  • Monitor contract compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Provide input into the development, review, negotiation, and implementation of service, subcontract, and supplier agreements.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field.
  • Current OHS General Induction to Construction Certificate.
  • Knowledge of SAP Project Systems or similar.
  • High-level computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Relevant experience in contract and commercial preparation and negotiation.
  • Knowledge of planning and scheduling.
  • Knowledge of document control systems.
