Care Manager Opportunity

St Peter's in Lane Cove, NSW, Australia is seeking a highly skilled Care Manager to join their team.

About the Role:

  • Lead clinical teams to provide high-quality care to residents at all times, adhering to Aged Care quality Standards and Catholic Healthcare policies.
  • Provide coaching and leadership to ensure quality resident outcomes, working in a safe manner and following all policies and procedures.
  • Act as 2nd in charge to the Residential Manager, ensuring compliance with quality standards.

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high-quality care to the elderly.
  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
  • Thorough understanding of Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality Standards.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of AN-ACC assessment processes.
  • Comprehensive clinical knowledge and understanding of the aging process, particularly age-related health issues.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of workplace health and safety.
  • Previous experience working in a Residential Aged Care setting in a similar role.
  • Strong coaching/training skills and ability to influence others.
  • Strong customer-centric approach to business.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Willingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance.
