Job Description

This role involves identifying new business opportunities within defined territories or customer segments for Chemistry Immunoassay and Automation solutions. Key responsibilities include conducting discovery sessions with potential customers to understand their clinical workflows, operational challenges, strategic goals, and unmet needs.

A strong understanding of clinical laboratory operations, particularly in Chemistry and Immunoassay, is essential for this position. The ideal candidate will have experience building relationships with diverse stakeholders and presenting complex clinical and operational concepts to influence decisions.

Travel Requirements: Extensive travel is required, including week-long interstate and metro site tours. A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record is necessary.

Remote Work Arrangements: Beckman Coulter Diagnostics supports flexible, remote working arrangements for eligible roles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities for the Chemistry Immunoassay and Automation portfolio.
  • Conduct discovery sessions with potential customers to understand their clinical workflows, operational challenges, strategic goals, and unmet needs.
  • Develop and deliver presentations and proposals that articulate the clinical value, operational efficiencies, and total cost of ownership advantages of the solution.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape, market trends, and evolving customer needs.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers at target accounts.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience in a lab scientist capacity within the clinical pathology space.
  • Proven track record building relationships with diverse stakeholders and presenting complex clinical and operational concepts.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, self-motivated, results-oriented, able to work independently and as part of a team.
