The Technical Sales Representative plays a pivotal role in driving customer relationships across the coal mining sector. This position focuses on account management, delivering solutions that add value to our customers' operations and drive business growth.
This field-based position offers flexibility, including remote work options, with regular travel to mine sites in the NSW coal region.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and grow existing customer accounts in the NSW coal sector by building long-term partnerships.
- Provide technical sales support and product recommendations for underground strata reinforcement and support systems.
- Collaborate with clients to understand operational challenges and propose tailored solutions using our product range.
- Implement regional and customer-specific sales strategies to achieve business targets.
- Monitor and report on product performance, ensuring ongoing customer satisfaction and identifying areas for improvement.
- Identify opportunities for product development or innovation in response to customer needs.
- Support the Regional Sales Manager in preparing and executing regional sales and cost budgets.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, including site visit reports and key action items.
You have significant underground mining experience, preferably within the coal sector, with a solid understanding of ground support materials and installation practices.
A trade or tertiary qualification in a mining or engineering-related discipline will be highly regarded.
