Business Development Manager Job Description

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and representing the company across key markets.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the engineering field
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company growth targets
  • Prepare and submit compelling procurement and tender proposals, managing end-to-end submission processes to support business development and client acquisition
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals to secure new business
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction
Requirements

To be successful as a Business Development Manager, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, sales, marketing or related field viewed favourably
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales and business development ideally in the engineering field
  • Demonstrated experience in business development, sales within the engineering industry.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed
