We are seeking an exceptional warehouse professional to lead our team at Brisbane Airport.

This is a rare opportunity for someone looking to further develop their career in warehousing and take on a leadership role.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2-3 years of experience working with perishable cargo and a thorough understanding of airfreight operations.

They must be a hands-on individual who can lead by example and ensure staff are trained and supported to perform their roles effectively.

We seek a leader with strong leadership skills, safety focus, and the ability to start immediately.

Key Responsibilities
  • Be the main contact for customer and supplier queries
  • Plan and complete lodgements on time, meeting airline cut-offs
  • Unload, load, unpack, and pack cargo as required
  • Ensure all cargo is customs and quarantine cleared before dispatch
  • Follow safety rules and report issues
  • Manage daily tasks for Freight Coordinators
  • Support and guide the team to meet standards
  • Collaborate with other supervisors, staff, and managers to improve efficiency
About You

Required Skills & Experience:

  • At least 2-3 years in a similar role
  • Current ASIC Card (or willingness to apply)
  • Forklift license and experience
  • Physically fit for manual lifting
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Reliable and flexible
  • Ability to work independently
  • Approachable and safety-conscious

Desired:

  • Fumigation License
  • Authority to drive Airside (ADA)
  • Experience with Dangerous Goods or industry accreditation
  • Knowledge of OH&S regulations
