This role is a key position within our organisation, responsible for managing the movement of perishable goods across Australia. With a strong focus on logistics and customer satisfaction, you will be an integral part of our supply chain team.

As a Freight Forwarder, your primary duties will include receiving and processing orders for the transportation of perishable goods from clients and internal stakeholders. You will determine the specific requirements for each shipment, such as temperature controls, packaging, and documentation.

You will arrange transportation with carriers, airlines, or shipping lines, negotiating rates to optimize cost-effectiveness and on-time delivery. Compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines concerning the transportation of perishable goods is essential.

You will prepare and review all necessary shipping and customs documentation, maintaining accurate records of all shipments. Additionally, you will perform quality control checks on incoming and outgoing perishable goods.

To succeed in this role, you will need 1 year experience in a similar position, Dangerous Goods Certification, up-to-date knowledge of processing EDNs, and the ability to respond to inbound and outbound customer contact.
