Join our dynamic Team at DHL Global Forwarding We are looking for a Senior Perishables Gateway Specialist , within the Perishables Department , at our Melbourne Head Office Station.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and support the daily operations of air freight export consolidations at the gateway
  • Ensure all shipments are handled in compliance with regulations and customer requirements
  • Monitor cargo status, identify incidents, and drive resolution quickly
  • Optimise consolidations and bookings for maximum efficiency
  • Liaise with internal teams, global service centres , suppliers, and customers
  • Own documentation workflows — from creation to distribution

What You Bring:

  • 4+ years' experience in Export Air Freight (essential)
  • Strong knowledge of freight forwarding and logistics
  • CargoWise1 experience (highly desirable)
  • Proven leadership and team management capabilities
  • Excellent communication, decision-making and multitasking skills
  • Attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive mindset
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
