Therapeutic Services Director Role

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive therapeutic clinical services model across the region.
  • Manage a team of Behaviour Support Practitioners and provide coaching and guidance to ensure excellent service delivery.
  • Collaborate with Case Workers and Carers to provide reflective practice and support.
  • Deliver therapeutic interventions and support to young people, prioritising their safety and well-being.
  • Implement CareSouth's Trauma-Informed Therapeutic Care Model, ensuring seamless integration with existing services.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A tertiary qualification in Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Social Work, Nursing, or a relevant clinical field, along with current registration with AHPRA or eligibility for registration with the relevant state body.
  • Significant experience working with trauma-informed models, mental health, disabilities, child protection, and similar sectors.
  • Demonstrated leadership and management skills, with a proven track record in a clinical leadership capacity.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Sound judgement and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes.
