Lead Clinician Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and experienced clinician to lead our therapeutic clinical services across the region.

About the Role
  • Drive the development of a comprehensive therapeutic clinical services model that meets the needs of our clients.
  • Manage a small team of Behaviour Support Practitioners, with opportunities for growth and professional development.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to Case Workers and Carers, promoting best practice in therapeutic intervention.
  • Implement CareSouth's trauma-informed Therapeutic Care Model, ensuring consistency and quality across all services.

The successful applicant will possess:

  • A tertiary qualification in Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Social Work, Nursing or a related field, with current registration with AHPRA or eligibility for registration with the relevant state body.
  • Significant experience working with trauma-informed models, mental health, disabilities, child protection, and similar service sectors.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, with experience in managing teams and implementing organisational change.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Sound judgement and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex situations.
  • Experience working within a case management framework, with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes for clients.
