About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Philanthropic Grants Coordinator to join our team at RSPCA Victoria. As a key member of our fundraising team, you will play a critical role in securing vital funding to support our mission of ending cruelty to all animals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and research funding opportunities to support our programs and services.
  • Develop and write compelling grant proposals to secure funding from philanthropic and government sources.
  • Manage grants from application to acquittal, ensuring compliance and maximizing impact.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to secure funding and support.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies to grow philanthropic income.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in fundraising, communication/marketing or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience managing a grants program, with a proven track-record of researching, writing and securing philanthropic and/or government grants.
  • Exceptional writing and communication skills, with the ability to synthesise complex information and produce concise, compelling applications and reports.
  • Proven interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated self-management capabilities, with the ability to work independently and manage competing demands.
