Job Summary:

Alteo is seeking a skilled IT Support Specialist to provide first-level technical assistance to users. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science and experience in level 1 IT user support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for network connections, hardware, and software issues.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of multi-function copiers, including resolving installation problems and coordinating maintenance and repairs with suppliers.
  • Install and configure IP telephones for new users and resolve first-level problems.
  • Manage access cards, including preparing new cards for users, programming building doors, and monitoring system operation.
  • Manage the key system, maintaining the inventory, creating copies as needed, and updating the list of key holders.
  • Coordinate reservations for meeting rooms and ensure that readers are programmed to grant authorizations.
  • Ensure that the premises are maintained in good condition.

Requirements:

  • DEC in computer science or equivalent.
  • 2-3 years' experience in level 1 IT user support.
  • Knowledge of computer network administration.
  • Knowledge of workstation installation/configuration, multifunction copiers, and IP telephones.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a strong ability to help users.
  • Good analytical and diagnostic skills.
  • Resourceful and autonomous.
  • Good communication skills.
