Electrical Design Drafter Role

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Design Drafter to join our Primary Engineering Team at our Adelaide head office.

The successful candidate will work on innovative high-voltage infrastructure projects for the National Electricity Grid, including substations, grid connections, and battery storage.

This role involves supporting project design and construction while ensuring high-quality results that meet standards and deadlines.

Responsibilities:

  • Producing high-quality design artefacts, technical documentation, and other tasks in line with project plans and standards.
  • Interpreting and implementing design information from Design Engineers and Managers.
  • Experience producing CAD drawings in MicroStation and/or AutoCAD, ensuring compliance with client standards prior to manufacturing/construction.
  • Previous experience in substation design.
  • Knowledge of 3D design principles is highly regarded.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary studies are highly regarded.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
