Senior Clinical Lead for Mental Health Services

The Department of Health seeks a senior allied health professional to provide clinical care in the Child and Youth Mental Health Service (CYMHS) in Tasmania.
The role ensures service delivery aligns with evidence-based practice, person-centred, trauma-informed, and meets National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards, Legislative requirements, Agency Policy, and professional competencies.
- Leadership training is provided by the Tasmanian Health Service in partnership with University of Tasmania.
Key qualifications include clinical leadership experience, complex case management, assessment, counselling, and/or therapy within mental health or related sectors.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing clinical leadership in designated areas, regions, and/or statewide streams
- Delivering comprehensive biopsychosocial mental health assessments and therapies
- Working with innovative team leaders and consultant psychiatrists to develop new youth mental health services
- Leading diverse multidisciplinary teams
