**About the Role:**
We are seeking a talented and charismatic Bell Attendant to join our team at JW Marriott. As a key member of our hospitality staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their stay with us is memorable and enjoyable.
Job Summary:
- Greet and escort guests to rooms, always maintaining a warm and welcoming demeanor.
- Open doors and assist guests/visitors entering and leaving property, showcasing your friendly and courteous nature.
- Inform guests of property amenities, services, and hours of operation, highlighting the best experiences we have to offer.
- Identify and explain room features to guests, making sure they feel comfortable and confident in their surroundings.
- Transport guest luggage to and from guest rooms and/or designated bell area, demonstrating your ability to multitask and provide excellent support.
- Assist with luggage storage and retrieval, showing attention to detail and a commitment to getting things right.
- Assist guests/visitors in and out of vehicles, including assisting guests with loading/unloading luggage, displaying your willingness to go above and beyond.
- Supply guests with directions, using your knowledge of the area to help them navigate and enjoy their stay.
- Arrange transportation (e.g., taxi cab, shuttle bus, limousine/sedan service) for guests/visitors, and record advance transportation request as needed, showcasing your organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Communicate parking procedures to guests/visitors, ensuring they understand our policies and can make informed decisions.
- FOLLOW ALL COMPANY POLICIES AND PROCEDURES, and report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager, prioritizing safety and well-being.
- Maintain awareness of undesirable persons on property premises, keeping our community safe and secure.
- Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional and maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, upholding our high standards and values.
- Welcome and acknowledge all guests, anticipating and addressing their service needs, and thanking them with genuine appreciation, always staying focused on delivering exceptional service.
- Speak with others using clear and professional language, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette, demonstrating your effective communication skills.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.
- Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards, consistently striving for excellence and continuous improvement.
- Read and visually verify information in a variety of formats (e.g., small print), showcasing your ability to adapt and learn new skills.
- Move at a speed required to respond to work situations (e.g., run, walk, jog), being agile and responsive to changing circumstances.
- Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift, demonstrating your stamina and endurance.
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance and objects weighing in excess of 75 pounds with assistance, showcasing your physical abilities and capacity to handle tasks.
- Move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces as well as up and down stairs and/or service ramps, being mindful of your own safety and the safety of others.
- Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, demonstrating your flexibility and dexterity.
