Job Description

  • Undertake general waiting duties, including cleaning trolleys, taking orders, and serving guests with flair and professionalism.
  • Receipt of monies and cash up of service periods, maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency.
  • Follow and implement all departmental procedures, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and checklists to ensure seamless operations.
  • Demonstrate a "can do" attitude, embodying the art of French hospitality through personalized service and timely task completion.
  • Assist with implementation and maintenance of Sofitel Brand Standards, promoting a consistent luxurious experience for our guests.
  • Collaborate with the Outlets Manager to develop ambassadors' skills and knowledge, maintaining a detailed training log.
  • Respond to guest comments, requests, and complaints, informing Supervisors and Assistant Managers of any issues.


Salary

Estimated annual salary: AU$55,000 - AU$65,000, depending on experience and qualifications.



Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Highly motivated with excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience in a similar role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong communication skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Professional appearance, representing Sofitel's brand values.
  • Ability to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Hold a current RSA certificate.
