Senior Risk Management Professional


As a seasoned risk management professional, you will play a pivotal role in assisting our clients in evaluating and improving the effectiveness of their risk management, control, and governance processes.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with a range of leading financial services clients across various sectors, including insurance, superannuation, and banking, providing a broad spectrum of experiences.
  • Utilize cutting-edge tools and artificial intelligence to assess and improve the adequacy, efficiency, and effectiveness of clients' operational processes, controls, activities, policies, and systems.
  • Tap into EY's extensive global network to discover and implement solutions that address our clients' most pressing challenges and assist them on their paths to transformation.
  • Support the lead on audit projects to ensure they meet our agreed standards and timelines.
  • Research and analyze our clients' needs to identify and assess potential issues within the regulatory framework.
  • Work with large datasets to uncover insights, drawing on your experience in risk analytics and reporting.
  • Collaborate with the wider team on business development initiatives aimed at transforming risk functions.
  • Coch and mentor junior team members, helping them develop specific skills and capabilities.

Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in risk assessment frameworks, preferably within Financial Services, FinTech, or Consulting.
  • A proven track record of maintaining long-term client relationships and networks, as well as identifying business development opportunities.
  • Experience with Australian and/or international prudential supervision, regulatory reporting, RegTech, capital management, enterprise risk, and risk data management is important.
  • Good knowledge of third-party lifecycle management, including due diligence, risk assessments, monitoring, and offboarding.
  • Good experience on various due diligence methods (e.g., risk assessment/vendor security assessment, risk management and controls review, audits, gap analysis, regulatory compliance review).
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
