**Job Summary**

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Liability Underwriter to join our NSW Casualty Underwriting team. As a Senior Liability Underwriter, you will be responsible for underwriting liability lines insurance risks, ensuring they align with our business strategy, risk appetite, and regulatory requirements.

This is a full-time permanent opportunity based in Sydney. Our ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of pricing, portfolio management, and intermediary relations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Underwrite liability lines insurance risks in alignment with business strategy, risk appetite, and regulatory requirements.
  • Assess and price moderate to complex risks, apply targeted underwriting strategies, and support credit management and servicing.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to Broking partners and grow the portfolio through relationship building and market contacts.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and intermediaries to strengthen client relationships and lead the use of rating tools.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to portfolio performance and team success.

Requirements:

Liability underwriting or liability broking experience is required. The ideal candidate will also have intermediate knowledge of pricing, portfolio management, and intermediary relations.
