Key Role in Enterprise Risk Management

This senior leadership position oversees the development and implementation of risk strategies across various domains, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

  • Provide visionary leadership in risk enablement, aligning strategy with the organisation's enterprise goals and future direction.

About the Job

Reporting directly to the Chief Risk Officer, you will be responsible for leading second-line oversight of risk across critical domains including IT, cybersecurity, data, digital platforms, and operational resilience.

  • Develop and execute a forward-thinking risk management strategy that integrates technology, transformation, and operations.
  • Lead the design and implementation of enterprise-wide risk frameworks and tools aligned with APRA standards.
  • Monitor emerging risks and performance indicators to inform executive reporting and strategic response.

Required Skills and Qualifications

You are a seasoned risk management professional with:

  • Extensive experience in risk management within financial services, ideally superannuation.
  • Proven leadership in managing technology and operational risk at an enterprise level.
  • Strong knowledge of APRA Prudential Standards (CPS 230, CPS 234), ISO standards, and relevant frameworks.
