Our organization is seeking an experienced Safety and Risk Management Specialist to join our skilled Projects Delivery Team for FIFO work out of Perth.

The Role
  • We require a highly skilled professional to implement, review and maintain our Project HSEQ Management Plan, ensuring it remains up-to-date and compliant with relevant legislation and client standards.
  • This role involves monitoring and refining HSEQ policies and procedures to identify areas for improvement and ensure effective management of risks.
  • The successful candidate will engage with management and workers to promote a strong safety culture, identify potential hazards and take steps to mitigate them.
  • Responsibilities also include providing advice, support and assistance for assessments, inspections and compliance monitoring, as well as actively promoting health, safety and well-being initiatives.
  • This role requires the ability to perform other HSE-related tasks as required onsite, working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve project goals.
Requirements
  • Diploma in Work Health & Safety or equivalent qualification.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar HSE role, preferably within mining or civil construction on mine sites.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this position.
  • Proficiency in MS Suite (Excel, Project) and ability to adapt to new software systems quickly.
  • Experience with MYOSH Incident Reporting is advantageous, as is holding a current White Card and recent experience on RTIO site with up-to-date inductions.
