Job Title: Risk and Compliance Professional

The primary responsibility of this role is to support business units with risk management coordination, encompassing identification, analysis, mitigation, and implementation in accordance with established frameworks, policies, and procedures.

  • Conduct research into legislation and analyze safety data to provide insights on risk management trends.
  • Coordinate transformational programs to identify, analyze, and mitigate risks to deliver ALARP outcomes across various projects.
  • Engage stakeholders to ensure risk assessments are conducted and stored in accordance with the organization's risk framework, policies, and procedures.
  • Using technology and data-based solutions, coordinate analysis to identify risks, develop recommendations for efficiency improvements, and support business units in driving risk reduction and transformation.
Key Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years' experience within the aviation industry (preferable).
  • Certificate/Diploma in risk management (preferable).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to deliver insightful findings.
  • Experience in risk management activities, including Bow Tie risk methodology and risk frameworks.
  • Sound knowledge of aviation, occupational safety, and environmental legislation as well as relevant AUS/NZ and ISO standards and codes of practice.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build effective relationships and influence stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
