Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Star of the Sea OSHC in Cleveland. As a permanent, part-time educator, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality educational programs for primary school-aged children.

Catholic Early EdCare is a leading provider of Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) services in Australia. We operate in a small and welcoming school setting, creating a nurturing environment that fosters creativity, active play, and learning.

Your Role

  • You will work closely with our Coordinator to plan, deliver, and document educational programs, ensuring a safe and secure environment for all children.
  • You will assist in staff rostering and supervision, as well as administration and financial management tasks, such as fee collection.
  • You will provide exceptional care and support to children, promoting their wellbeing, learning, and personal development.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Children Services or equivalent
  • Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card), First Aid, CPR, Asthma/Anaphylaxis certification
  • Ability to be the Responsible Person on site in the absence of the Coordinator
  • Knowledge of the National Quality Framework, My Time Our Place framework, and National Law/Regulations
  • Experience in education and care of children
  • Effective computer skills, including experience with childcare management software (Xplor preferred)
  • Effective workplace communication and leadership skills

Estimated Salary Range: AU$68,000 - AU$85,000 per annum
