About the Opportunity

We are looking for an enthusiastic and fun-loving educator who can work on a casual basis and harness work-life balance. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will have the opportunity to create fun recreational and educational experiences that support the well-being of children.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with children to develop their social, personal, respectful, spiritual, creative, and confident growth.
  • Provide children with a safe, secure, welcoming, and nurturing environment.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.
  • Promote the service within the local community in accordance with Catholic Early EdCare's expectations and educational philosophy.
  • Participate in professional and personal development.

Requirements

  • Holding a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or ACECQA equivalent, or be studying or willing to enrol in study.
  • A current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
  • Knowledge and understanding of childcare industry practices including legislative requirements and quality frameworks.
  • A passion for the education and care of children aged 6 months - Kindergarten aged in a play-based learning environment.
