Early Childhood Educator

We are seeking an exceptional Early Childhood Educator to lead our team at Majella Early Years Centre + Kindergarten in Chermside West, Queensland.

The successful candidate will have a Diploma qualification recognised by ACECQA, or Working Towards, and hold current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates. They will also have a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check) and knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework & the National Quality Standard.

This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday, with rostered shifts between 7am and 6pm. The remuneration package includes above award wages, uniform allowances, and opportunities for career progression.

You will also be part of a network of over 130 Catholic Early EdCare services in South East Queensland, contributing to creating safe and nurturing environments for children to grow and develop.

  • Lead and work collaboratively with the team to prepare high-quality educational programs for children based on their interests and needs.
  • Support children's growth and development, promoting a happy, safe, and inclusive environment.
  • Promote the service within the local community, aligning with Catholic Early EdCare's expectations and educational philosophy.

Key Responsibilities include planning and delivering high-quality educational programs, participating in professional development, and promoting the service through effective communication.

A competitive salary of $85,000-$95,000 per annum, plus benefits, is on offer for the right candidate.
