About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Scheduling Coordinator. As a Scheduling Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating the efficient scheduling of client services to ensure continuity in client care.

You will work closely with our Community Support Workers, Clinical and Allied Health Staff to provide exceptional customer service and ensure that client requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the scheduling of Home Care staff to provide continuity in client services that meet each client's needs, as per their specific care plan and service request
  • Maximise utilisation of staff in line with their availability, location, and training competencies, ensuring staff schedules adhere to guidelines and rights within collective agreements
  • Schedule staff leave and events and reschedule any affected services in a timely manner
  • Ensure all staff and client communication is recorded in our Aged Care Management System
  • Attend and actively participate in Scheduling Team training sessions and meetings
  • Engage with external agencies to request service coverage where required in line with our Scheduling guidelines
  • Answer calls through the Home Care and Clinical Enquiry lines and provide assistance as required, focusing on exceptional customer service by ensuring every interaction is positive
  • Identify and discuss areas for continuous improvement in both your own and the wider teamwork practices, processes, and procedures

About You

The successful applicant will possess advanced-level administrative skills and an unwavering commitment to superior customer service delivery. Ideally, you would have more than 1 year of experience in a similar role. Experience with client management systems such as Comcare/and or E-case would be desirable.

Essential Criteria:

  • Evidence of COVID-19 and Current Flu vaccinations per our policies
  • Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance (within 6-months validity)
  • Successful completion of pre-employment form and reference checks
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Willingness to attend a paid induction at our Training Institute
