Procurement & Contracts Expert

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Procurement & Contracts Officer. This 5-month project is based in Newcastle and offers a unique opportunity for career growth.

As part of the Strategic Procurement Team, you will be responsible for maintaining and advising on contract management documentation and data, creating contract records and actions, reporting, training and supporting contracts management systems and processes, reviewing and reporting on contract management compliance regarding contract management plans, outline agreements and contract management activities, and engaging with stakeholders at all levels.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders across all levels. You will also have a high level of organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.

In this role, you will work closely with the team to provide expert advice on procurement and contracts management, ensuring seamless execution of projects and maintaining effective relationships with key stakeholders.
