Contract Management Professional

At the forefront of contract creation, negotiation, and management lies a pivotal role in driving supplier performance and compliance.

This position entails resolving complex issues, maintaining supplier relationships, and supporting strategic sourcing initiatives.

You will play a key part in shaping procurement outcomes and building strong stakeholder connections.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish effective contract governance mechanisms within and outside the procurement function.
  • Manage and adjust complex contracts to meet business needs and continue to add value.
  • Develop a plan for contract administration and set priorities and targets for renewal and extensions.
  • Lead expert reference groups for key areas of spend and work with business partners to support procurement programs and supply chain initiatives.
  • Develop risk mitigation strategies for complex procurement arrangements.
  • Consult throughout the organisation to support the development of strategic and high-risk contracts and supplier relationships.
  • Establish mechanisms for effective supplier relationship governance within and outside the procurement function.

About You

A relevant undergraduate qualification in business or a related discipline, complemented by hands-on experience in a similar role is required.

Strong project management skills, supported by digital and analytical abilities, are essential. Excellent communication skills and adaptability are also crucial for success.
