Strategic Planning Role

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our business unit as a Strategic Manager.

This role will be responsible for developing the company's strategic direction and social value ambition to achieve long-term, transformative business outcomes.

The core functions of the role include managing end-to-end strategic planning processes, developing strategic plans, preparing key strategic workshops and forums, and implementing the company's social value framework.

Establishing and maintaining productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders is critical to the success of this role and delivery of key outputs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of professionals to develop and implement corporate strategy and social value framework
  • Identify key challenges affecting the organisation, develop and conceptualise strategies to address these challenges, and advise on initiatives to improve overall business performance
  • Develop a governance process to implement the social value framework
  • Lead key workshops with senior leaders to develop, implement, and evolve corporate strategy
  • Lead components of growth strategy, identifying, assessing, and driving alignment across the business to new growth opportunities

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications are preferred; however, equivalent experience in the field will be considered
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and facilitate workshops with senior leaders
  • Strategic thinking and ability to set a clear vision
  • Strong prioritisation and organisational skills to manage competing priorities and ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to work collaboratively and lead effectively across multi-functional teams
