About the Role:

As a Disability Support Professional, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality support services to individuals with disabilities. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Building and maintaining positive relationships with clients and their families through effective communication and empathy.
  • Developing and implementing personalized support plans to promote independence, skill-building, and personal growth.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support services are delivered.
  • Providing educational resources and training to clients and their families on relevant topics.
  • Responding to crisis situations with empathy and professionalism.
  • Maintaining accurate records of interactions, assessments, and program outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, education, or a related field.
  • Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of community resources and social services.
  • Empathy, patience, and a genuine interest in promoting positive outcomes for individuals with disabilities.
