About the Role

D4C is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join their expanding team to deliver excellence in the Treatment program of works.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Construction Leads to ensure allocated projects are delivered to scope within time, cost, quality and regulatory standards.
  • Set daily, weekly and long term project programs to achieve required project outputs with plant, labour, materials and resources.
  • Monitor and review costs, invoices and claims for allocated projects.
  • Contribute to the constructability of a project with respect to design development.
  • Undertake tender, evaluation, and award of subcontract procurement packages.
  • Monitor the quality and quantities of incoming equipment and material against drawings and specifications and arrange corrections or modifications where necessary as per Inspection and Test Plans.
  • Analyse and use document and record management, progress and project performance reporting compliance reporting.
  • Demonstrate sound people management skills by managing work and performance of self perform workforce and subcontractors to achieve outcomes.
  • Liaise and coordinate with all external parties and relevant statutory authorities and manage their attendance on site as necessary.
  • Contribute to and foster a good safety, quality, environment and a community culture with a view to deliver differently.
Requirements
  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Science, Building Construction, Construction Management or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5-10 years' engineering experience.
  • Pre-contracts knowledge in relation to design, planning and legislative requirements.
  • Demonstrated leadership in health, safety, quality and environmental management.
  • Client relationship and stakeholder management experience.
  • Highly competent with MS office.
  • Drivers licence.
  • White card.
