About the Opportunity

An exciting opportunity exists for an Exercise Physiologist Coordinator to join our Allied Health team on a full-time permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leads and manages exercise Physiology students in delivering health and fitness programs to maximise health, fitness and social outcomes for clients across community and gym environments
  • Screen, assess and evaluate a client's health to ensure safety and appropriateness of exercise and physical activity interventions, which includes conducting tests of physiological measures
  • Evaluate a person's health and create individualised exercise prescription
  • Provide health education, advice and support to enhance health and well-being
  • Provide exercise intervention, education and advice for those at risk of developing a chronic condition or injury and patients in the acute/sub-acute stage of injury, surgical intervention, or during recovery to restore functional capacity and well-being
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Assist with other tasks and/or projects as required
Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualifications in Exercise Science specialising in Exercise Physiology
  • Accreditation with Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA)
  • A current Australian Driver's Licence and access to your own vehicle
  • Hold a valid First Aid and CPR certificates
