Job Summary

As a Rail Signalling Electrician with Laing O'Rourke, you will be responsible for implementing varying levels of signalling works across Sydney sites, including digital systems projects. This role requires a strong understanding of signalling principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement signalling works across multiple sites in Sydney, adhering to strict safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with high-performance rail teams to ensure smooth project execution and delivery.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop comprehensive plans to mitigate potential hazards.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • C Class Drivers Licence
  • Construction industry white card
  • Rail Industry Worker Card (RIW), with Licenced Sydney Trains Signal Electrician
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role
  • Certificate of Competency on both Sydney Trains and ARTC networks as a signal electrician
  • Able to pass a pre-employment medical, including Rail CAT Specific medical & drug and alcohol screening
