Early Childhood Leadership Position

The Early Learning Centre is seeking a visionary leader to helm our team and foster a culture of excellence in early childhood education.

This challenging yet rewarding role will see you overseeing the day-to-day operations, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all stakeholders, and providing leadership and guidance to our educators. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing marketing strategies to attract new families
  • Managing centre policies and procedures, aligning with regulatory requirements
  • Providing coaching and mentoring support to educators
  • Overseeing occupancy management, rostering, and budgeting processes
  • Ensuring compliance with child safe standards and ongoing quality improvement initiatives
  • Recruiting, supporting, and developing the skills of new educators

To succeed in this position, you will require:

  • Previous experience as a Nominated Supervisor or equivalent
  • A Diploma in Children Services or a degree in early childhood
  • Current certification in Working with Children Check, child protection, and first aid
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills
  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively
  • Passion for delivering high-quality education and care to children and families
  • Desirable: Knowledge of CCS, ACCS, Qikkids & Educa
