About the Role

We are seeking an experienced System Administrator to join our team at Boeing Defence Australia. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for administering complex, high-assurance systems that are security-focused.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and administer Windows Server environments
  • Design and implement application and desktop delivery services
  • Provide technical design reviews and subject matter expertise in key technology aspects of the design
  • Resolve problems and provide technical support for the delivery of systems
  • Monitor system performance to support capacity planning and backup and disaster recovery planning
Requirements
  • Expertise in implementing and administering complex, high-assurance systems that are security-focused
  • Experience in building and administering Windows Server environments
  • Storage administration and integration skills with hypervisors
  • Experience in Identity Management, Multi-Factor Authentication and Group Policy configuration and implementation
  • Design and implementation of application and desktop delivery services
  • Systematic and logical problem-solving skills
  • A demonstrated ability to produce clear and concise documentation
Desirable Criteria
  • Defence industry experience
  • Working knowledge of the Australian Signals Directorate (ASD) Information Security Manual (ISM)
  • Experience implementing server hardening
  • Experience with DevOps / DevSecOps Technologies
  • Experience with Backup Administration
