Job Title: Financial Project Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled finance professional to oversee financial matters for various projects, providing analysis and direction to achieve project goals.

Reporting to the Project Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for efficient and effective financial record-keeping and reporting for a portfolio of projects.

You will be an excellent communicator and enjoy partnering with project managers to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

  • Oversight of all financial matters for assigned projects
  • Analysis and direction to achieve project financial goals
  • Maintenance of accurate and timely financial records
  • Preparation and submission of financial reports to senior management
  • Partnership with project managers to ensure financial objectives are met

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Commerce or equivalent experience in a similar role
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Previous experience in analysing financial data to assist project cost forecasting and risk assessment
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment
  • Proven ability in report preparation, meeting tight deadlines and supporting project delivery teams
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Familiarity with accounting and project costing software and strong Microsoft Excel skills
