We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our Digital Operations & Software Engineering team. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for setting up, maintaining, and continuously developing continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) infrastructure.

This role involves leveraging cloud technologies and infrastructure-as-code practices to support rapid, reliable, and innovative service delivery. You will interact with stakeholders and vendor partners, support operations, and contribute to evolving and uplifting engineering practices.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Serving as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for CI/CD pipelines, supporting application teams in automating configuration management and release deployment processes
  • Collaborating with application teams to enable seamless code releases into test and production environments, driving self-service capabilities through reliable, automated solutions
  • Leveraging DevSecOps tools to embed security practices into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring security is integrated throughout the development lifecycle
  • Contributing to the adoption of platform engineering practices to streamline infrastructure management and enhance scalability
  • Administering and managing source control and artifact repositories, enforcing best practices for versioning, collaboration, and security
  • Supporting and driving the advancement of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) initiatives for automation and consistency

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Expertise working in a DevOps or Platform Engineering team
  • Strong experience in CI/CD pipeline management, including the automation of infrastructure workflows
  • Hands-on experience with tools such as Azure DevOps and/or Atlassian stack (Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence)
  • Proven track record in monitoring pipeline performance and implementing improvements to optimise efficiency and reliability
  • Familiarity with Internal Developer Platform (IDP) solutions (desirable)
  • Experience with Salesforce, Mulesoft, or Adobe Experience Manager (desirable)
  • Strong expertise in at least one programming language
