Sales Account Manager

At Komatsu Australia, we're seeking a highly skilled Sales Account Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you'll be responsible for generating new sales and developing new business opportunities in the Brisbane Metro to Bundaberg region.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain engagement with existing customers and develop new business opportunities through a proactive weekly call plan.
- Manage the sales pipeline and update the CRM Opportunities & Activities Module on a weekly basis.
- Capture all profitable sales within designated territory to achieve or exceed Komatsu's national market share average.
- Ensure all machine deliveries are conducted in a professional and timely manner through coordination with the Sales Manager and the Operator Trainer.
- Provide timely reporting on sales trends, competitive actions, and internal intelligence at sales meetings.
- Ensure the financial viability of the sales department through precise and detailed order preparation and management of the sales discount structure.
- Develop and implement initiatives to increase profitability through expenditure cost savings.
- Liaise with the Sales Manager to provide forecasting required to manage sales activities.
- Build and maintain good working relations with key decision-makers within customer organisational structures and internal departments.
- Maintain product knowledge through regular Komatsu product training and attendance at industry Functions/Networking and field day events.

- A proven background in Construction & Utility Equipment Industry sales.
- Ability to demonstrate product knowledge including mechanical and technical data.
- Highly developed sales skills, with an ability to develop and maintain a proactive call plan.
- Well-organised and results-oriented.
- Customer-centric with well-developed communication skills both written and verbal.
- Strong computer literacy including Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Social Media.
- Good analytical and conceptual skills.
- Ability to implement corporate policy.
