Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced project professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a recognized degree in a technical field and 1-4 years of project management experience, preferably on the client side or in consulting.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and maintaining project governance and administration documentation, tracking project progress, and providing regular reports to stakeholders. They will also support design management and procurement activities, communicate effectively with all project stakeholders, and ensure compliance with project safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain project governance and administration documentation
  • Track project progress and provide regular reports to the project team and key stakeholders
  • Support design management and procurement activities
  • Communicate effectively with all project stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with project safety protocols

Requirements:

  • Recognized degree or equivalent qualification in a technical field (Construction Management or Project Management, Engineering, Architecture, Cost Management, or relatable trade experience)
  • 1-4 years of project management experience (ideally client side or consulting)
  • Administrative skills with strength in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with Aconex advantageous
  • Familiarity with the Design Phase highly desirable
  • Construction Contract Administration experience highly desirable

Preferred Skills:

  • Great communication skills, both written and verbal
  • English fluency to a native standard
  • Personal links to the Townsville region highly desirable
  • Highly motivated to deliver great outcomes to clients
