Project Coordination Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to join our team for the Cross River Rail project in Brisbane. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating all direct report site employees, plant resources, and subcontract teams to achieve quality and safety objectives.

About the Opportunity

  • Maintain a comprehensive working knowledge of the contract, specifications, EBA, and safety and environmental regulations.
  • Effectively coordinate and supervise the utilisation of all on-site resources for the project.
  • Experience with formwork, fit-outs, building, hydraulics, and civil works.
  • Evaluate construction progress and compliance to safety and environmental standards.
  • Ensure accurate timesheets are submitted to the payroll office within specified timeframes.
  • Manage site security and material/plant deliveries and storage and general housekeeping.
  • Perform operations in accordance with agreed safe methods of work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managed self-perform and subcontract resources to deliver projects worth between $1M and $50M.
  • Demonstrated commercial experience, including:
    • Forecasting labour and materials.
    • Experience in concrete structures.
    • Building & Construction Background.
    • Monitoring cost and time of allocated resources.
    • Comprehending subcontractor contracts.
    • Reviewing procurement packages.
    • Accountability.
    • Negotiation and influencing.

  • A Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Proven track record in managing self-perform and subcontract resources to deliver large-scale construction projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
